2008 –
In March, a serious tornado ripped through the heart of downtown Atlanta,
causing severe damage to the Georgia World Congress Center and several
downtown hotels. Big South Volleyball, an annual Atlanta event, was headed
to town one week later and was faced with finding new locations for 115
volleyball courts and 20,000 participants…and also a way to get
everyone to where they needed to be. We swung into action, scouring the
city for every last possible location and putting together what the client
termed “an impossibly massive transportation plan at the very last
minute” that included stops at 7 different locations scattered throughout
every corner the city. And, oh by the way...it was Easter weekend on top
of it all!
